Belinda, RDA, CDA
Chairside Dental Assistant
I enjoy learning about our patients’ lives and building relationships with them. I started with our practice in 1998 and treasure the friendships I’ve made. Our patients are an extension of my family and I care for them as such. Our team is a cohesive group. Each of us is passionate about delivering exceptional care and patients benefit from our experience and commitment.
My days are spent helping patients. I seat them, make sure they’re comfortable, and prepare them to see Dr. Lake. Working chairside, I act as a second pair of hands for the doctor while talking with the patient about what we’re doing. At the end of a procedure, I offer home care instructions, answer questions, and make sure our patient is happy with all we’ve done.
When not working, I love time with my husband, especially traveling and going to the beach. I have two sons and a grandchild on the way! I also have a dog, Lexy, and we like our walks. I’ve been known to enjoy a good movie and love good meals out, too.

I like helping people develop their best oral health and a smile they love. It’s wonderful when a patient makes changes in their home care and I see a clean, healthy smile at a recall visit! I joined Dr. Lake and our team in 2006 and found my home. My teammates and Dr. Lake are positive and knowledgeable. We all genuinely care about patients on the clinical and personal levels.
I offer a range of dental hygiene care, tailored to each person’s unique concerns. I update the patient’s medical and dental history, examine their mouth, and clean their teeth and gums. Much of the time spent with a patient is focused on education. I teach them about their oral health and how it’s connected to overall wellness. Together, we find the right home care processes and tools to keep their teeth healthy and smile looking incredible.
I was born and raised in Rahway and now live in Clark with my husband, Jack.

Office Manager and Dental Assistant
I enjoy welcoming new patients to our practice and building a relationship with them. It’s just as wonderful to strengthen connections with established patients. I’ve been with Dr. Lake and our team since 1998 and am happy to be part of a positive, patient-focused office. We all work well together and that means the smoothest, most comfortable experience for patients.
I greet and check in people when they arrive, schedule visits and recall appointments, and handle insurance processing. Working with patients, I review their proposed treatment plan, including financial arrangements, and answer questions. It’s important patients are able to make educated decisions about their care. When needed, I also work in the clinic, providing chairside assistance.
Time with my family is a priority. I’ve been married for 40 years and have two children and two wonderful grandchildren. I love being outdoors and in touch with nature, as well as cooking, golfing, and hiking. I’m an active member of St. George Parish in Linden, too.
